4 large flour tortillas

1 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings: bell peppers, black olives, mushrooms, etc.)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for an extra kick

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). While that's heating up, line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

    Prepare the Tortillas: Take your tortillas and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Use a pastry brush to lightly coat each tortilla with olive oil. This will help them become perfectly crispy as they bake.

      Spread the Sauce: Using about ¼ cup of pizza sauce for each tortilla, spread it evenly across the surface, leaving a small border (around ½ inch) around the edges to avoid spills when rolling.

        Add Cheese & Toppings: Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Then, top with pepperoni and any additional ingredients you desire, such as sliced bell peppers, black olives, or mushrooms. Finish with a sprinkle of Italian seasoning for an aromatic touch.

          Roll Them Up: Starting from one edge, carefully roll each tortilla tightly into a wrap, ensuring the filling stays inside as much as possible. If some ingredients escape, it’s all part of the delicious charm!

            Arrange and Bake: Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush the tops with olive oil, and if desired, sprinkle a bit of extra Italian seasoning for added flavor.
