Ingredients

1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 cup buttermilk

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon sea salt (to taste)

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for a hint of smokiness)

1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, use a fork or a potato masher to mash the ripe avocado until it's creamy, leaving a few small chunks for delightful texture if preferred.

Incorporate the Greek yogurt and buttermilk into the mashed avocado. Stir the mixture well until it transforms into a smooth, creamy blend.

Add the fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, dried parsley, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed, resulting in a smooth dressing.

Sample the dressing and adjust the seasoning by adding extra salt or pepper according to your taste preferences.

If you desire a thinner dressing, gradually whisk in additional buttermilk, a tablespoon at a time, until the dressing reaches your preferred consistency.

Carefully transfer the dressing into a decorative serving bowl. Garnish the top with finely chopped fresh chives for an inviting presentation.

Serve the dressing immediately as a dip or dressing. Alternatively, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Allowing it to chill will enhance and deepen the flavors.
