Creamy Garlic Chicken and Broccoli Skillet

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

    Season the chicken pieces generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.

      Cook the Chicken:

        Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When the oil is shimmering but not smoking, add the seasoned chicken pieces. Cook for about 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through (165°F internal temperature). Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

          Sauté the Garlic:

            In the same skillet (keep the delicious drippings!), add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant but take care not to let it brown, as burnt garlic can be bitter.

              Add the Broccoli:
