3 tablespoons olive oil

    Prepare Pita: Take each large pita bread and use a sharp knife to cut them into eighths, creating roughly triangular pieces. You should end up with about 32 pita triangles.

      Make the Coating: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried Italian herbs, red pepper flakes (if using), sea salt, and freshly cracked black pepper. Stir well with a spoon or whisk to ensure all the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the cheese.
