Ingredients

1 large bunch of kale

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon nutritional yeast (optional)

Instructions

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Rinse the kale thoroughly under cold water, then dry it completely using a salad spinner or by patting it dry with a clean kitchen towel.

Remove the kale leaves from the tough stems, tearing them into bite-sized pieces, and place them in a large mixing bowl.

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, sea salt, smoked paprika (if included), and black pepper, whisking them together until blended.

Drizzle the garlic oil mixture over the kale pieces, using your hands to massage the oil into the leaves to ensure an even coating.

Arrange the kale in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring the leaves are not overcrowded for optimal crispiness.

Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 10-15 minutes, or until the edges turn crispy and slightly golden. Monitor closely to avoid burning!

Once finished, take them out of the oven and add nutritional yeast if you wish for an extra cheesy flavor.

Allow the chips to cool for a few moments before savoring as a delightful, crunchy snack!
